В прошлом серфер, а ныне охотник за сокровищами, Бенн «Финн» Финнеган - добродушный парень, помешанный на идее отыскать легендарное королевское приданое – 40 сундуков с сокровищами, затонувшими в 1715-м году в море. Отчаянные поиски клада утопили всё, что было ценным для Финна, включая некогда счастливый брак с Тесс Финнеган и его горе-лодку под названием «Нажива зовет». Тесс, решив начать новую жизнь, устраивается работать на яхту миллиардера Найджела Ханиката… но именно тогда Финн, наконец-то, получает главную подсказку о местонахождения клада, и гонка за сокровищами опять начинается…
