О фильме:
Никто из друзей и коллег профессора Джона Олдмэна не ожидал чем обернется прощальная вечеринка, устроенная им по поводу своего отъезда. Джон удивил признанием о том, что он бессмертный человек, живущий на Земле уже около 14 тысяч лет. Конечно, никто не воспринимает признание Джона всерьез. Он рассказывает о том, когда он родился, когда впервые понял, что он не такой как все, как ему приходилось выживать все эти тысячи лет и многое другое. Друзья Джона оказываются заинтригованы: с одной стороны история Джона достаточно нелепа и нереальна, а с другой стороны их друг Джон вовсе не тот человек, которому нравится разыгрывать своих друзей. Вся его история начинает выглядеть очень достоверно, что заставляет его друзей нервничать: слишком уж убедительным оказался Джон и для шутки его история явно затянулась...
